Jessica Dreaver
Jessica Dreaver has a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy with First Class Honours from Curtin University. Her honours project involved exploring the factors enabling successful employment for people with autism. Her research was selected to be presented at an international autism conference and she has had her work published.
Jessica is working part-time at AIM. Jessica is also working in schools at a Language Development Centre and mainstream primary school. In schools, she provides teachers with education and strategies to support students in class, provides in-class support and facilitates small group and individual therapy sessions targeting a range of skills. Jessica has provided group and individual therapy to young clients aged three to nine years-old among a multidisciplinary team, targeting the areas of gross and fine motor development, motor planning, handwriting, attention and concentration, emotional regulation, social skills, sensory processing, and executive functioning.
Jessica enjoys working with children of all ages and abilities. She has experience working with children and young people who have various diagnoses, including Autism, Sensory Processing difficulties, Developmental Coordination Disorders, Anxiety, and Attention Deficit Disorder. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys going to the beach, art, and staying active. She looks forward to meeting you and working with your students.
