Mei-lee Morris
Mei-lee is a creative and passionate Occupational therapist who graduated with a Bachelor of Science with honours (BSc OT and Hons) from Curtin University in 2019. Mei-lee loves to work alongside children’s strengths to help achieve their goals, no matter how big or small! Before coming over to AIM, Mei-lee worked within a not for profit organisation in Early intervention for children and learnt foundational skills as an OT in Paediatrics.
Mei-lee understands the importance of person-centred and family based practice and enjoy’s working alongside the important people in a child’s life. A typical therapy may look like creating playdoh animals, hopping through obstacle courses or blowing bubbles! Therapy can be done in clinic, at school, home or in the community- wherever is a more suitable and comfortable environment!
Mei-lee has experience working with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Sensory processing difficulties, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Global developmental delay and Intellectual disability.
Outside of work, Mei-lee enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially her dog named Charlie (who is a Kelpie), doing Reformer Pilates and swimming, getting outdoors in nature and getting creative in the kitchen.
